SP2372 Senior Prom

SP2372 Senior Prom  Arranged by William E. Hettrick

Those who grew up with the popular songs of the 1920s and ’30s (which remained the standard fare of most dance bands until the 1960’s) remember the wonderful romantic moods they created. Members of later generations owe it to themselves to experience this great American musical repertoire. Here are six of the best examples from that period, newly arranged for recorder quartet (SATB) in an appropriately colorful harmonic idiom and designed for intermediate and advanced players.

Titles Include:

I’m in the Mood for Love
Deep Purple
I’ll Get By
As Time Goes By
I’ll See You in My Dreams
Good Night Sweetheart.
